Intel 925X and 915P
Intel D925XCV and Abit AA8 motherboards caused us least problems. The Intel’s main difficulties are connected with the supplied software. The Abit will be helpful if used in combination with µGuru chipset but this would require Windows reinstall. At the same time the Foxconn products can be regarded as good purchase although they are a bit conservative. Asus P5AD2 and Gigabyte motherboards turn off too early at high CPU loads. Driver for intel motherboards you may get here.
Asus P5AD2 disappointed us by undocumented overclocking of ATI graphic cards in ‘PEG Link Mode’ menu BIOS (if set to “Normal”, “Fast” and “Faster”). On August 4 a dedicated official release was made. At the same time overclocking of components no relating to the motherboard should be strictly documented.
